Dog Walks In Scottish Highlands

If you're in and around the Aviemore area of the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland then you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to great places to walk your dogs.

Forestry Commission Scotland look after huge areas of forest and woodland including Glenmore near Aviemore and Inshriach near Kingussie and many of these trails are great dog walking territory and offer spectacular scenery for the humans tagging along on the walks as well!

Plus 2 Dogs & Dog Friendly Scotland particularly enjoyed a walk around Loch Morlich near to the Glenmore Caravan & Camping site (the campsite is bookable via Forest Holiday and the site does welcome dogs) - the beach separating campsite, forest and loch (see photo above) is stunning! We also enjoyed the Crag walk and a meander around the Lochans at Inshriach Forest.
