Ardoch Lodge, Strathyre, Nr Callander
Ardoch Lodge is set in 12 acres of grounds surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, a peaceful and tranquil setting for two log cabins and a cottage.
Each property sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area plus a family bathroom. They are well furnished, equipped and heated making them comfortable at any time of the year. Wildlife abounds here with red squirrels, deer, occasional pine martens and lots of birds. Ardoch Lodge is open all year.
Up to 4 dogs are most welcome. There are plenty of paths to walk in the grounds and beyond in Forestry Commission woodland and the Trossachs National Park. The nearby village has two dog friendly pubs.

The Steadings, Auchteralyth, Alyth, Perthshire
These red sandstone Scottish farm steadings were converted with great attention to detail (under floor heating, power shower, broadband access in all the cottages and much more).
Just over one hour by car from Edinburgh, the Steadings sits on the edge of Glen Isla, high above the Vale of Strathmore. Imagine yourself sitting in the garden with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, with only the sound of a few sparrows and the water feature, staring across fertile farmlands and the Sidlaw Hills!
Glen Doll cottage is rated 4 star and the other three Glen Isla, Prosen and Clova are rated 5 stars.
The owners love dogs and the garden is enclosed and safe to let them play off the lead, they also give a list of suitable walks in the area to guests and a wee treat on arrival for the dogs!

Changue House, Large Country Property, By Barr, South Ayrshire
Changue House is a large country property, steeped in history and set in its own grounds on the edge of Changue Forest, nestled in countryside designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty and within the Galloway Dark Skies Park.
Walks or bike rides into the forest start from the house and a short drive will get you to some glorious dog friednly beaches.
