 Dumfries & Galloway, tucked away in Scotland's south west corner is a stunning part of the country and home to the impressive Galloway Forest, run by Forestry Commission Scotland.

There are 3 visitor centres in the forest and loads of forest trails and paths for great dog friendly walks with lovely views.

Dog Friendly Scotland highly recommends the trails into the forest from the Kirroughtree Visitor Centre near Newton Stewart.
